So, I finally made it to Seoul. It was stressful, to say the least, but I'm here.
Yesterday, I arrived in Incheon in the morning, left the airport without my luggage (it was lost) and took a bus to Yonsei University in Seoul. It was a nice, quiet drive through the cloudy, rainy morning. I got checked-in, inspected my room (room-mate has yet to arrive) and took a shower.
We had a lecture in the morning, went out for lunch as a big group (we had shobu) and then we were in small groups, exploring, until late evening. We saw some neat things, I'll post them separately in a little bit.
We saw Marionette at the 63 Building. It was a b-boys dance performance, about 2 hours long.
Today, we went to listen to Dr. Linton at Severance Hospital. He told us if we ever get crabs, to literally spray Raid on ourselves "down there." We ate at the hospital, then went to the national museum in the afternoon. History and artifacts aren't really my thing, but it wasn't too painful~
We walked back to campus on our own after that. My friends and I got lost again, but eventually found our way back after eating some ddeokbokki from a street vendor. It was really good~
