Singing Competition

Each level at KLI has some sort of competition or performance involving every class.
For Level 2, it is a singing competition, or 노래대회~~~

Our class happened to go second. Nobody in our class wanted to participate, and therefore, very few people cared to prepare for it at all.
We sang "Itaewon Freedom" painfully awkwardly, though the crowd did their best to clap along to support us. Class Leader and some of the braver girls attempted to dance (ie: sway), and Peter ended up doing a dramatic dance solo and back flip.

After we were done, I wandered in and out, but I got a few blurry pictures :\

 (friend Mandy ^^ )

 Daniel, as an old man :l

Insadong~

On one disgustingly and miserably hot Saturday, Joshua and I went to Insadong.

I loved this mall. So interesting ^o^

 ㅋㅋ

I always enjoy seeing something more traditional-looking amongst modern buildings.

(We made it to the top!)

We spied on young couples >:D

 People's buttons with various messages..

 A boy! D:

 Giraffe roof art, of course.

We took a quick way down, and saw some unique art..

And graffiti...... x3

It happened to be the weekend of a festival (Buddha's Birthday), so Insadong was pretty crowded.
We luckily found a spot in Starbucks, and cooled off while enjoying our drinks ^3^~

Recovery Day.

After a night of clubbing, Kara and I had a lazy day of hangover recovery.

Started out with our beloved crapes and fresh (DELICIOUS) apple juice.
Highly recommended ^^

 My usual potato crepes~

We splurged and ordered some of the cheesy fries.

 After battling the heat and doing some quick shopping, we crashed at Arvo.
And I tried a pumpkin frappe. It was yummy ;3;

Kara played with the cat pillow ;____;~

Last Day of KLI~~~

I overslept on my last day of Korean language classes.
I decided to go ahead and have a quick breakfast before wandering to class.
Coincidentally, I ran into our class leader on my way to the institute's cafeteria, and he ended up joining me for a quick and cheap meal of scrambled eggs and sausage ^o^

Near the end of class, we took some class photos, despite missing some students ;(

 Our teachers are the two women near the center of the group ^^;

Catch Me If You Can, Musical~

;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

Joshua and I went to see Key in the musical Catch Me If You Can this past spring ;;;;;;;;;;;;;
Of course, we had to eat a nice dinner together first ^^
At the lovely little restaurant near the Blue Square ^^^^

Nothing I say about the musical itself is credible.
I only saw, only heard, and only cared about Key ;;;;;;;;;;
And he was beautiful. And glorious. And wonderful. And charming. And perfect in his role :'l
